I am simply trying to discover what I know and what I can learn like everyone else. Working with materials that don't come out of a tube; an experiment in whatever I can get my hands on. Photography is immediate, but I like to think it is not. Drawing has always been a way to see things outside myself. Every decision I make somehow comes back to painting. ̌
truths to ask
My paintings are about the dark, weird and relatable truths we try to hide.
The work I make has to say something, address social issues or rejoice in our collective progress towards a more inclusive and reparative way of life.
Every decision I make somehow comes back to painting. I am simply trying to discover what I know and what I have yet to learn.
